There are many successful entrepreneurs who are living a life by earning decent income from blogging. By the term “decent”, I mean quite a decent which means much more than a usual 9-5 working person. Keeping that in mind, this article helps beginners to understand the steps to make money from blogs. It’s simple, easy to manage a blog and you don’t need any great technical skills. Lots of creative people use blog to share their thoughts, emotions, poetry and many other things. But in other side, there are lots of people who use blogging to make a little bit extra income. And also there are some people who are making their full time income by blogging. They post articles on their blogs, and their blogs work as ATM for them. The best thing is you can also make your blog as money making machine.

A: Here are the steps:
#1. Find Your Niche(what you like/know about): – This first step is one of the most difficult as well as one of the most important factors tp start. There’s a very popular proverb on the internet “Content is the King” of internet. If you haven’t any contents, you will not be able to make money with your blog. Bear in mind that people use internet to search for contents. Content which is useful for them. So, you must choose a topic in which you have lots of ideas or contents. Even you can select your topic based on what you good command on.You can select your blog keywords using the Google Keyword Tool.

#2. Create A Blog And Post Some Articles: – If you have chosen your niche, create a blog on Blogger.com, WordPress.com, Tumblr.com and many other blogging platforms. They offer you to use their blogging platform for free. If you ask me, then you should select a light template for your blog and post some quality articles which you think will be useful to your visitors. Creating a free or hosted blog and adding content with the right SEO strategy can create a solid stream of income online. Blogs are simple to create and design and if you have any Internet marketing skills, getting them ranked should be very simple. Create a banner for your site. Then, offer to make banners exactly like it for other webmasters. Created from nothing and becoming something so beautiful is what art is all about and that is why so many people admire it.

#3. Publishing “Useful” Articles: – Creativity and innovation are the basic rules to create posts that your readers will love and enjoy. Create your content, make it original, and make it informative.Now it is time to build your blog. You need to include the keywords you wrote down in Step #1 in the content of your blog. You have to write useful articles. You should not copy the content from other web sites, this is one of the common beginners mistake. Write original articles which solve the visitor problems. Focus on the topic and keep the visitors in mind, while writing articles for your blog. Consistency is one of the most important factors of Blogging. You should not stop writing after a couple of days/months. The number of articles you publish in a week may vary depending on you schedule. But try to have a writing schedule (for example, at least 1 article per day) and stick to that. Over a period of time (usually in 3 to 6 months), your blog gains decent amount of search engine traffic.

#4. Monetize Your Blog: – If you have lots of posts, submit your blog to Google to be approved for its AdSense program, this is most optimizing money making program for a blogger. There are also other money making programs you can use to monetize your blog. Use BidVertiser, Ad text link, Yahoo Publisher, Chitika to monetize your blog. Pick up some hot products at your niche and start promoting those products on your blog. If you make any sell, you will get 50 to 75 percent commissions. So, promoting any product will be worthy for you. But Affiliate Marketing is a very different idea all together which requires understanding the world of internet better. So focus towards producing quality content and building back links. Writing comments on related dofollow blogs, writing guest posts on established blogs, posting on related forums are few of the simple link building techniques. Keep in mind that marketing is a long term approach and it goes through the blogging life cycle to drive huge traffic.
